2. What we process and why
- Website delivery and security: IP address, date, requested resource, browser and technical records needed to serve the site, diagnose faults and prevent unauthorised access. The basis is the legitimate interest in operating a secure service.
- Enquiries and support: your email, name if provided, message and attachments needed to respond. Purchase or contract enquiries are processed to perform the contract or take pre-contractual steps at your request. Other enquiries are handled on the legitimate interest in responding to people who contact Tinker Junkie.
- Licensing: contact details, store website, location, size and sales channels you submit are used to consider and respond to your proposal. New licensees are not currently being accepted. Sending an enquiry does not grant a licence or subscribe you to advertising.
- Gallery: photographs, aliases and references to original posts show community prints with their authors’ permission. Where personal-data processing relies on consent, that consent can be withdrawn.
- Opinions: public product comments, aliases and sources are shown on the legitimate interest in presenting real experiences with correct attribution. Selection is limited to the product context. You may object or request correction or removal using the contact above.
- Technical preferences: if you save a choice in the cookie settings panel, it is stored to remember that configuration. Analytics and marketing are not enabled in this version of the website.
- Earlier transactions: historical order, invoice and correspondence records are kept separately from the public website to meet contractual, tax and accounting obligations and handle potential claims.
This website has no registration forms, newsletter or customer accounts. It makes no solely automated decisions with legal effects and does not create advertising profiles.
3. Sources
Data comes from technical connections, your communications, and the authors or community posts identified alongside each photograph or comment. Sources may include Discord, Instagram, Reddit and MyMiniFactory. Only information selected for the gallery or opinion is shown; private conversations and order details are not published.
Provide only what is needed for your enquiry. Do not send passwords, banking details or identity documents unless there is a specific need and an appropriate method has been agreed.
4. Retention
Enquiries are kept while they are being handled. If they result in a contractual relationship or claim, necessary documentation is retained for the applicable statutory retention and liability periods. An unsuccessful licensing proposal is not automatically added to a permanent marketing contact list.
Photographs and credits are retained while permission remains valid and they form part of the gallery. Opinions and attribution are retained while published and relevant to the product, and are reviewed following correction, objection or removal requests. Records needed to demonstrate permission or handle claims are kept separately for the period applicable to that purpose.
The technical tj_consent preference, when saved, expires after 180 days. Hosting logs follow the service’s rotation and may be retained while a specific incident is investigated. You can request information about the period applicable to your data using the contact above.
5. Recipients and external services
Hostinger provides website hosting and the email service for info@tinkerjunkie.com. Providers involved in hosting, email delivery and security may process data to provide these services under the applicable processing arrangements. Gallery and opinion content selected for publication is visible to any visitor and may be indexed by search engines.
Data may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend claims. Personal data is not sold.
MyMiniFactory, social platforms and external sellers apply their own policies when you access their services. Links do not automatically load their tracking systems on this website. Website photographs and videos are served as files, without embedded social-platform players.
6. International transfers
The website server is located in France and its hosting backups in Lithuania. This does not mean that all email, CDN or support processing takes place in those countries. Hostinger’s Data Processing Addendum covers hosting and email and sets out the safeguards for applicable international transfers. You can ask the controller for information or a copy of the applicable safeguards.
If you contact us through an external platform, its processing and transfers are also governed by that platform’s policy. This version does not send browsing data to Google Analytics or Meta Pixel.
7. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability where applicable, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Email info@tinkerjunkie.com with “Data protection” and the affected URL where relevant.
Additional identity information will only be requested where needed to handle your request. A response will normally be provided within one month; if complexity requires the extension allowed by law, you will be informed within that period. You can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
8. Changes
This policy will be updated when processing changes. Before enabling analytics, marketing or other services requiring consent, the relevant information and choices will be provided.
